• A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking.

• For bookings under IDR 1,000,000, full payment is required and is non-refundable.

• Payments can be made via Wise transfer to our Indonesian bank account or via Revolut.

• The remaining balance must be paid on the day of arrival during check-in.

• Reservations are only considered confirmed once the deposit has been received.

• Check-in: from 2 PM

• Check-out: until 11 AM

• You are welcome to leave your bags and use our common areas before check-in and after check-out.

• All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

• In case of early departure or cancellation during your stay, we can refund 50% of the remaining nights, provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice. Refunds are made in cash only.

• Date changes:

  • We generally do not allow date changes once a booking is confirmed.

    • If a guest requests a date change, we will try our best to assist, but it depends fully on our availability.

    • Date changes cannot be made within 3 weeks (21 days) before the arrival date.

    • If the new dates are available and approved, any price difference will apply.

    • Deposits are not transferable to other guests.

• Ensure you are fit and healthy for all activities you choose to join.

• Follow all safety instructions, house rules and behavior guidelines.

• You are responsible for any injuries, illnesses, damages or losses not caused by our negligence.

• Damage to surfboards, skate equipment or other gear must be paid for by the guest.

1. General Disclaimer

Secret Spot Surf & Stay accepts no liability for injuries, accidents, incidents or death resulting from surfing, water activities, motorbikes or general stay. Surfing and travel in Indonesia carry inherent risks which you voluntarily accept by participating or staying with us.

2. Property & Equipment

We are not liable for lost or damaged personal property (e.g., surfboards, electronics, luggage).
Guests must treat all equipment and facilities with care. Charges apply for damages due to neglect or misuse.

3. Fitness to Participate

By booking, you confirm that you:

• Are physically fit to swim and surf

• Will not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during activities

• Have no physical condition that may affect your safety

• Are not pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have disclosed relevant medical history or allergies

4. Medical Responsibility

Guests must disclose any medical conditions or allergies prior to arrival.
Participation may be restricted if your condition poses a risk to yourself or others.

It is the guest’s responsibility to:

• Hold a valid visa for your stay in Indonesia

• Have appropriate travel insurance, including coverage for health, accidents, surf activities and vehicle rental

• We strongly recommend having insurance before traveling.

1. Personal Items

We are not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, stolen or damaged during your stay.

2. Room Damages

Guests will be charged the full cost of any room items or property that is damaged, broken or missing due to neglect or misuse.

3. Surfboards & Gear

We are not liable for lost or damaged surfboards, bags or equipment.
We recommend appropriate travel insurance for sports gear.

4. Use of Our Property

Please respect all shared areas, boards and equipment. Guests are financially responsible for damages caused by careless or intentional behavior.

We can help arrange cars, motorbikes, and scooters but we are not the provider. Therefore, we are not responsible for:

• Vehicle quality or safety

• Accidents or injuries

• Damages or breakdowns

• Traffic fines, tickets or police issues

Please inspect the vehicle before renting. Insurance is often not included — we recommend travel insurance that covers vehicle rental.

1. Surf Spot Decisions

Our instructors will assign groups and select surf spots based on safety, tides and ocean conditions.

2. Poor Conditions

Ocean conditions may sometimes be inconsistent or unsuitable.
This may result in all levels surfing together or the cancellation of sessions. These situations are beyond our control and do not qualify for refunds.

3. Line-Up Behavior

Guests must follow surf etiquette and remain close to instructors.
Unsafe or disrespectful behavior may result in exclusion from sessions without refund.

We are not liable for cancellations, changes or damages caused by events outside our control, including:

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, volcanoes)

• Wars, riots, terrorism, or political unrest

• Epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies

• Transportation disruptions or airport closures

• Extreme weather or unsafe ocean conditions

Refunds cannot be provided for situations caused by force majeure.

• No parties or loud noise after 10:00 PM

• Visitors allowed in common areas only

• Smoking permitted only in designated areas

• Respect other guests, staff, and neighbors

• Please keep the space clean and take care of shared areas

Secret Spot Surf & Stay may take photographs or videos during your stay and surf lessons for marketing and promotional purposes. By making a booking with us, you consent to the use of these images. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us prior to your stay and/or lesson.
