Lombok is home to the Sasak people, known for their kindness, simplicity and strong connection to tradition. In small villages like Sade , life still moves to the beat of age-old customs.

Ceremonies are a big part of everyday life here. From vibrant wedding processions to quiet funeral rites and special religious holidays, these moments bring the community together.

The easiest way to get to Kuta, Lombok is by air. There are many cheap daily flights from Bali, Jakarta, as well as international flights from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
You can also get to Lombok from Bali on a fast boat or a public ferry. Either way, we offer taxi pick up from any destination around Lombok directly to Secret Spot.

How to get here

  • The quickest and the easiest way of getting to Lombok is by plane. Lombok International Airport (LOP) has direct flights from Bali, Jakarta such as from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
    We are only a short 25 minutes drive away from the airport. If you need a taxi, let us know in advance and we can organise it for you.

  • Another option is to get to Bangsal harbour from Padang Bai in Bali. It takes around 2.5 hours and it’s another 2 hours drive to Kuta.
    If you need a pick up, just let us know in advance to arrange it with the driver.

  • It's the longest and cheapest way to get to Lombok. The ferry leaves from Padang Bai and arrives to Lembar. The ride takes between 4-6 hours depending on the sea conditions. There is no schedule and no advance bookings. The ferry operates 24/7 and leaves on average every 2 hours or when full. The drive from Lembar to Kuta takes 1.5 hours.
